It began as a distant dream that danced in our minds for five long years. In due time, my husband and I embarked on an epic journey to the enchanting land of New Zealand. Its stunning landscapes became our playground for an entire year. With bikes in tow, we embraced the spirit of adventure, immersing ourselves in the endless trails weaving through snow-capped mountains and lush forests. But it wasn't just the land that captivated us. New Zealand beckoned us towards its pristine watery depths. We picked up the sport of spearfishing, and the hunt for fish became an exhilarating challenge and the source of food for many of our meals.
